Mom. Advocate. Running to represent the people of Southeastern North Carolina.

🇺🇸NEWS: I’m running for Congress to represent SE NC: Fayetteville, Wilmington, Elizabethtown, Whiteville, and points beyond & in-between!

Why?

Because as a mom, a social worker, and an educator, I’ve seen what the current lack of leadership has meant for way too many of us. We deserve better!

During the darkest month of the year, the holidays bring us light: the menorah of Hanukkah, the twinkling lights of Christmas, & the candles of Kwanzaa. On this first day of Kwanzaa, I encourage us to reflect & plan for ways to center faith, purpose, culture, & community in the new year.

I was grateful to spend time with Robeson County residents this past week—listening to their concerns and sharing how my policies can help create better jobs, better schools, better healthcare in our rural communities.

Thank you to Congressman Wiley Nickel, host Pat Timmons Goodson, and everyone who came out to support the official launch of our campaign for Congress. The energy in the room was incredible! This race is just beginning, and with this kind of support, I know we’re building something powerful together

A Raleigh suburb wants a 4x 📈in the water it gets from the Cape Fear & doesn't put back. That would be devastating for ~1,000,000 people across our region: farmers, small businesses, and everyone who pays a water bill. Six million gallons of water a day = OUR shared future.

From my family to yours, thank you.

Thank you for believing in this campaign, for showing up, for sharing your stories, and for reminding me every day what service truly means.

This season is about gratitude—and I’m so grateful for YOU. Happy Thanksgiving, NC-07. 🍂✨

The federal government does not have a direct voice in picking a school’s curriculum. This does not mean the role of Congress is not important to help protect our public schools. 🧵

The Waccamaw Siouan Tribe, rooted in Southeastern NC, has called the Buckhead community home for centuries honoring its vibrant traditions like the annual Powwow. This Native American Heritage Month, we celebrate their culture and contributions. ✨

It was a full house at Solar Brewing in Brunswick County! The energy was electric as supporters came together, fired up for 2026. 💙 I’m so inspired by the passion and belief in what we can accomplish together. We’re building a movement for change — and I’m ready to fight for the people of NC-07! 🌊

Those who answer the call to serve our country, and their families, should be cared for. Homelessness, underfunded healthcare, and limited post-service work opportunities are unacceptable realities that our service members face following discharge. 🧵
