Another reason to bring Ukraine into the European family as soon as possible: they have tremendous expertise in building and operating drones. We cannot let that fall into Russian hands.

In the 30s Europe tried fascism ahead of the US - which on realizing what it is and develops into, steered clear of it. Now things are the other way around.
We are at the point in history where Germany is having to lecture the US on the need to fight fascism.

If the IRS deprives Harvard of its tax-exempt status, that's very bad for Harvard but it's also a catastrophe for the IRS. Instead of a neutral agency that enforces tax law, it will become a tool of partisan warfare. It may never recover.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.
