James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon

Movie Reviews: Force Of Evil (1948) & Undertow (1949)
Today I’m going to cover two crime films I saw somewhat recently, before the memory fades because it’s been so long, or because the movies are that mediocre. Force Of Evil (1948) &#8211…

It would help us so much if just a handful more these managed to sell. It would give us a lil bit of breathing room after multiple expensive dental procedures this year. Please consider giving these originals a new home or sharing the post with someone who might like them. Many thanks in advance!

the aim of the american constitutional structure is twofold: to prevent major change without consensus and to have a workable system of self-government. supermajority rules for ordinary business might promote consensus (i think this is wrong btw) but they make government unworkable!

Happy #noirvember, here's a quick write up of Cry Danger, which stars Leonard from Community. "Shut up Leonard, we know you lied about a crime to get a man out of jail only to follow him to see where he hid his stolen money." I forgot what episode that quote is from.

I’m pretty sure winning a slam dunk lawsuit against this criminal extortion would have been cheaper than dropping $60m during a bad budget crunch. They didn’t cave to pressure. They collaborated with the regime and sold out their students and staff.
Breaking News: Cornell University reached an agreement with the Trump administration that would restore hundreds of millions in funding to the university. It's expected to pay a $30 million fine to the government and to invest $30 million in agriculture and farming programs.

An actual audit of police overtime, pursued by an honest agency, would end with a staggering number of people in jail
When I was in Chicago I worked on a lawsuit about a cop who would pull people over outside gay bars, give them a test with a tampered breathalyzer, arrest them for DUI,and attend every single hearing & sleep in the back billing overtime. He was making three times his actual salary
Years ago when I ran the Police Gazette as a print monthly in upstate New York, I did a story on the police officer who ran the parking ticket appeal hearings. He did nothing all day but sit in an office and deny people's appeals. He made more than the city's mayor.

As Rudy G was humiliating himself in an alleyway behind Four Seasons Landscaping, Trump went golfing. Trump voting base should have realized what an incompetent sham that admin was and how representative that moment was. That should have woken them up. That's why woke is a bad word, I guess.
