Complaining that something only has four chords is one of those "knows a little bit about music" opinions that I've been guilty of at times. George writes a great melody on top, and performs it wonderfully and keeping the chords simple and looping showcases this instead of competing with it.

Just irritated that you can't send images in DMs then thought maybe it's by design - it'll reduce the dick pics I guess? Not that I've ever had a problem with it, my DMs are middle-aged men going "can I be in the newsletter please?"

Often think I hate documentaries as I have no interest in talking heads or some dick reading an essay whilst walking around a castle. Then "The Making of Do They Know It's Christmas?" reminds me how good they can be. All contemporary footage, no v/o, fly on the wall brilliance. You're in the room.

Sister in a play and I went with dad to watch. Dad fell asleep & I watched him slowly falling of his chair then wake as reflex kicked in. He screamed. Whole place including cast looked at him. He spoke up, "I'm sorry, but I fell asleep." Backstage "who was that twat?" my sister denied knowing him.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?
Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

One of the most important thing you can do as a person who makes things is write down scraps of ideas when you have them. Coz you will wake up going "oh I should make something, but what?" and having a list of ideas to read is exactly what you need in that moment.
