Scientists who study climate don't automatically attribute all changes to human activity. Rather, we carefully investigate every possible natural factor that could explain the planet's warming.

Could these be the real culprits?

The evidence is in--and the answer is NO.

Melting Arctic ice isn’t just bad for polar bears; it’s bad for us, too.

A warmer Arctic and changing circulation patterns affect coastlines, crops, and climate patterns around the world.
What happens in the Arctic doesn't really matter, right?

“Charity can take care of it” is a common refrain I’m hearing in response to US government funding being cut across the board.

No. No, it can’t.

The measles outbreak in Texas is reminding me of the public letter Roald Dahl wrote about losing his daughter to measles in 1962, just before the vaccine was publicly available.

The #1 reported reason people avoid doctor’s appointments is because they’re afraid of finding out they have a serious illness.

If you have that fear, that’s normal and you’re not alone. Also remember, there is basically no serious illness that isn’t less serious if you catch it sooner.
