It is the height of irony that the president finds due process such a burden when he has fully benefited from its existence his entire life, and has even exhausted it on numerous occasions. He isn’t special…due process is for everyone in this country, whether you are a citizen or not.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

In his initial first remarks yesterday, the President of Ukraine THANKED the President of the United States…on camera…the Vice President needs to stop dipping into Musk’s drug stash.
It's not necessarily the most important part of today's Oval Office debacle, but Vance suggested that Zelenskyy has never thanked the U.S. for its support — and that's demonstrably ridiculous.

MD National Guard don't march in Frederick Douglass parade b/c of (a cowardly interpretation of) Trump's re-segregation policies.

My dad lived in this neck of the woods so lemme lay some facts on this situation.

I spent some time reading Elon’s tweets this morning (one of my least favorite activities) and it’s hard to overstate how much he and his allies have constructed an alternate reality for their audience to believe in. In their world, Elon is a superhero fighting government fraud, like fanfiction

Amy Klobuchar's got jokes, folks:

Klobuchar: What is the difference between Greenland and Donald Trump? Greenland is not for sale.

*boo*

Klobuchar: Ok. For any Republican Trump Administration person who wants to throw eggs at me because of that joke. You can’t because they’re too expensive.

The outrageous drek the President-elect throws out daily is not just hair-hurting ridiculous, it is an extremely effective smoke screen so we do not focus on the real issues/threats. If we are spending our time absorbing the absurd, we are missing the reality…what does he not want us to see.

Is it worth 20 MINS a day to proactively recruit and bring your friends, neighbors, relatives, businesses, anyone who is or could be a user, to @bsky.app?

If Bluesky ends up with more users than the others, you destabilize musk, zuck, trump.
