Ramos no es nada tonto, lo cual hace que su tesis al respecto de las jornadas 4x3 sea todavía más despreciable y mezquina. De lejos se ve que esa hablada de que los trabajadores vamos a decidir nuestra jornada no se le cree ni solo.

Have truly lost patience with the New York Times’ editorial coverage of AI, which has basically degenerated into industry cheerleading.

They are completely misrepresenting what most academics believe about AGI.

I detail some blunders here:

I will say, we need to get ready to organize for pushback on this.

EO aren’t that binding, so legislation would need to pass for it to work.

If you aren’t already, get comfortable connecting with your representatives, because if Big Tech gains traction on this we need to move en masse to stop it.
Google joins the call to gut our legal protections, pushing for a world where Big Tech gets to profit from all your innovations & works for free, and that theft is ok’d by law.

No joke IF they get this, the US will likely face irreparable harm as pivotal creative economies crash.

This is a bigger issue than people realize. Not just jobs lost. But their families losing benefits. Landlords losing tenants. Cities and towns losing revenue. This is how recessions start

Ready Fire Aim is no way to govern.
More accurate, fewer words;

"There are plenty of contractors going under".

A friend furloughed 75% of staff (furlough w/paying for health insurance for three months), 50% exec pay cut, 25% rest of staff to keep as many people w/salary.

PS: Wasn't 18F a government office, not a contractor.

Sergey saying it requires overtime, for an unspecified duration, to achieve an undefined goal, is like saying “a perfect meal is achievable if everyone will just work over a stove set to 800 degrees”. Really? Is that so? It’s too obviously just demanding stolen labor and immiseration.

They lie quite a bit about their own show. Here’s a few:

Lie #1 Christies says work on the show comes from data which was trained on participants own inputs in this article below:

Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons:

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.

-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.
