Hooray for Bohacek
Indiana Republican Sen. Mike Bohacek, who has a daughter with Down syndrome, says he’ll vote No on redistricting following Trump’s “retarded” slur at Gov. Walz.

This is the scandal. Trump isn’t targeting dangerous people. He’s targeting peaceful immigrants. Almost exclusively.

Maybe, just maybe, instead of stopping everyone from certain parts of the world to come to the US we should do something about the guns that are used to shoot people. But no, we'd rather put an additional 550 troops in DC than do a single thing about the gun problem. Lunacy.

Reflection on episode one of the Beatles Anthology 2025: The picture is amazingly clear, the sound is wonderful and the edits and additions make the story easier to follow for non-fans and the pacing is better. A big win from my perspective.

Possibly unpopular opinion: I think the Grateful Dead’s Harper College 1970 show (Dick’s Picks 8) is over-rated. One of my least favorite of the series.

@carmenjoyimes.bsky.social Your profile popped up on my Facebook and I noted that not only do we have some people in common but you attended Denver Christian Schools. I taught there for 11 years and could not resist reaching out.

This sort of incompetence happens again and again in the Trump administration because he makes appointments primarily because of allegiance to him and a willingness to do what he asks rather than experience and a proven track record in the field.
NEWS: A stunning courtroom admission may have just blown up the Trump DOJ's case against James Comey. Prosecutors just admitted the full grand jury NEVER reviewed the final indictment, only the foreperson did, after Lindsey Halligan brought an altered version straight to the magistrate. 1/

So let me get this straight: The President’s plan to lower prices is to roll back some of his own tariffs?

Here's the thing. If Bill Clinton or anyone else did the things with young girls that the others (possibly including Trump) did, then they deserves to be thrown in jail. Trump seems to think that Democrats want to protect Clinton from this. We don't.

So, they're here to take welfare and SNAP but can afford to buy houses???????????
FOX NEWS: Do you believe that the number of people who came into the country illegally is one of the major factors that drove up housing prices?

FED GOV STEPHAN MIRAN: I absolutely believe that's the case

A reminder - last March, republicans promised to restore $1.1B in funding to DC in exchange for funding the government, and Mike Johnson never took it up in the House.

800+ flights cancelled today because Elon took a chainsaw to the federal government and Trump won’t pay the remaining airport personnel.

Elon’s on his way to becoming a trillionaire.

Trump’s net worth has more than doubled inside a year.

Glad everything worked out for them.

How about you?

Obviously, refusing to negotiate with Democrats while hoping they cave has not been a successful strategy.

Is it too much to ask for Mike Johnson to get his members back to DC and actually negotiate a compromise, or are we just going to keep doing the same thing day after day?
