I've had this album since 1983 but every time it pops up on my fairly complicated algorithm for cycling through my collection I think about what a wonderful album this is. Every Single. Time. And I just increased the frequency of playing it and is has not dampened my enthusiasm for it at all.

Listening to The Band's 1969 self titled album today reminded me of a college-age neighbor who loaned it to me when I was a high school freshman. I didn't really get it back then. A number of years later I finally figured it out.

I listened to The Master and the Musician by Phil Keaggy from 1978 again this morning and it remains an outstanding example of artistry. What a beautiful album.

After almost a year, I still play and enjoy this album. Jeremiah by Rachel Wilhelm.

It has taken me a while to get into Marillion but An Hour Before Its Dark (and the live version from Port Zelande, which I"m listening to now) have helped me get there.

Even after 42 years, this album is still a favorite. If you don't know it, find a quiet place and listen to it.

Still enjoying Wheels Within Wheels by Meer, one of many musical highlights of the past year for me.

I haven't played Deliverin' by Poco from 1971 for a while but it is a great one. If you don't know it, do yourself a favor and give it a listen. No wonder I thought it was fantastic when I bought it as a high school student. I was right!
