Pro Publica updated its database of compliance with returning Indigenous ancestors under NAGPRA. While some sincere efforts were made by places such as Dept. of the Interior, there are others incl. Harvard (5,400) and Berkeley (4,700) with 1000s of remains. projects.propublica.org/repatriation...

This comment on r/fednews really stood out to me. Trump and Musk want people to think they're firing do-nothing "bureaucrats," but they're really getting rid of people dedicated to serving this country and keeping it operational. I hope these stories get told.
