Had this dicey experience with a lorry due to a dangerous cycle lane on Upper Richmond Rd on Wednesday eve 😳 The lane encouraged this driver's very dodgy "pass" & left me stuck alongside a huge HGV with no protection.
An example of why paint ≠ protection. No cycle lane would be better here!

Shared space with motor vehicles they works in Paraty, Brazil, thanks to 17th century cobbles. Vehicles struggle to move faster than 10mph.
