The way I’ve tried to encourage friends to keep creating is that you still get the “experience points” even if you don’t finish or never post what you made. You did the action, now you’ve got more EXP. That’s how it works. You don’t have to “cash it in”; you just get experience from doing things.

I'm primarily a sculptor in my artistic practice, and I wonder whether GenAI is going to lead to an uptick in the number of people working in sculpture instead of other media. It's going to be a while before computers outpace my mastery (lol) of hot glue guns and craft knives.

I'm watching Back to the Future and honestly I think it's a neglected candidate for the 'Best Film Ever' shortlists. The attention to detail is enthralling, particularly the production design. Every building in that town square has a story, even when it's on screen in the background for seconds.

November is Pornvember. By which I mean that I'm going to put serious effort into launching myself as a porn performer (finally). I already have some stuff filmed and have plans for lots more. Hopefully it'll become a source of income that will help tide me over the winter.

#SteamNextFest really annoys me. It's fantastic and amazing to have all these demos available, and infuriating that they almost all get taken down after the event. I'm sorry that I can't drop everything to play game demos at Valve's convenience.
