This is the school my grandmother, great auntie, and great grandmother survived.

I haven't even begun the journey of healing from this, in a few days it'll be the year anniversary of when they confirmed the number to be 38. They found the graves in November 2023, the estimate was in the 30s
They found 38 unmarked graves of Indigenous children at Immaculate Conception Mission in South Dakota and it didn't make the news outside of Indian Country.

Over the weekend, Peter Thiel, the billionaire founder of software firm Palantir, dumped all of his personal investments in Nvidia, the U.S. chipmaker whose products make generative AI possible.
Nvidia is responsible for over a quarter of all gains in the stock market over the past three years.
The AI bubble may be about to burst. Mark Carney must not bail out its Tech Barons ⋆ The Breach
While billionaires bet against the hyped up multi-trillion-dollar AI market, Canada’s government is doubling down

even if you don't care about the long term health implications of getting covid, i don't get why you wouldn't wanna wear a mask at least during known high risk periods

who can afford taking 2-3 weeks off work??

& even if you CAN, why wouldn't you wanna enjoy that time off instead of suffering lol

one thing abusers can take advantage of is the fact that their survivors often want to be more private, don't want things to be litigated publicly, just want to move on with their lives. so the abuser knows that the survivor hasn't posted receipts, hasn't called them out, so they can use forcibly >

i don't and will never understand why abusers are incapable of letting go. no one is calling you out, no one is bothering you, the survivor just wants to move on with her life. but no, you HAVE to punish and punish and punish and control and control and make everyone fucking miserable

Coyote HRT: Month 9.5

The dental school doesn't get folks like me in often so my dentist persuaded me to  be a live example for the students

I wasn't expecting to be inspected like a wild animal but...here we are.

Major thanks to AyvieArt and Lakehounds for the inspiration

You know, I'm extremely angry about what happened to Leslie. This was the last tweet he wrote before he died. This is such a fucked up, selfish society that we've normalized mass infection, stigmatized public health, and put disabled people through hell. Things didn't have to be this way.

Hi I'm raising money to survive. Due to a banking error all of my savings were stripped from me. To make matters worse I am both mid move and in between jobs. So I do not have a stable roof over my head or any income currently but I'm working on that. Thank you!
Hi y'all I very prematurely closed my old gfm and I've started a new one. Things are quite dire and it's looking like I'm going to need to hire a lawyer which I can't afford. Your help would mean the world to me truly.

Not that hair dye and piercings are all that subversive these days, but part of the point of alternative fashion has always been to repel people who weren’t also into alternative lifestyles.

One time I genuinely heard someone say that people were less homophobic in the 2000s and I was like "we had to invent an entire separate word to describe straight men who gave a shit about their appearance to let people know they weren't gay." Not to mention all the, you know, actual hate crimes.
