Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

In China they are overt. With TikTok in the US, they control silently

Remember when it was a massive scandal that Russians donated to Trump by using straw men to buy tickets to his inaugural and $50M went unaccounted for? That’s going to seem quaint compared to the next four years. Especially with immunity. Buckle in.

Dear Democrats,

you could lead the world in post pandemic recovery. Fox News will tell everyone the economy is in crisis.

You could add millions of jobs. Elon will tell everyone the migrants are stealing them.

You have a massive information flow problem.

Deploy counter measures.

With Elon Musk, an unelected plutocrat, six weeks from becoming co-President of the United States, many people are just starting to research who he really is—that is, beyond the basics most already know.

Or, rather, think they know—as most of those basics are untrue.

This thread reveals the truth.

Elon Musk is a corporate raider with an established history of buying up businesses, pushing out the founders, taking credit for their inventions and reshaping those businesses in his own image.

His latest raid?

The United States of America.

Authoritarianism thrives on everyday people turning on each other.
“An incoming Missouri Republican lawmaker introduced a bill this week that would offer $1,000 bounties to residents who turn in undocumented immigrants.”

Not only does Trump not name the criminal statutes he claims his political enemies have violated, but apparently not a single journalist is willing to ask him to do so

The simple explanation—I can say as a lawyer who practiced criminal law for years—is that none of these people committed any crime
