When A.I. has stormed out and walked home alone from a high school party on a cold night in a not-warm-enough jacket and kicked a bottle off the sidewalk while glaring at the moon through the bare winter branches because even the moon doesn't understand it, then I might listen to one of its songs.

"AI is a tool for artists to use"

Every artist I know would rather shoot themselves than use AI even as a "tool" to create a complete project. The point of art is doing art. You losers are too capitalist brained to see that the reward is the art itself.

"Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" is an absolutely wonderful song.

Excellent display of the Aurora tonight here in Western Mass. Missed the last two big shows because of cloud cover. Of course I left the house with no phone for pics. Whatevs. Great damn sky.

I like to post a link to this song on #VeteransDay each year. It was written in honor of my paternal grandfather, who served with the US Army in France during the First World War. He was one of the lucky ones who made it back home. rickmurnane.bandcamp.com/track/armist...

In 1969, as the band imploded, the singer was 27, depressed and drowning in a sea of legal and personal rows. He hadn’t died, as rumour had it, but he was struggling. He introduces an oral history of how his family’s escape to a remote Scottish farm helped him move on 🎶

Rented a dumpster for a week, got some some major yard and barn cleanup attended to. Last bits getting done today before they take it away tomorrow. If you drove by just now, you might have seen me toss the odd combination of three trashed snowshovels and two broken plastic pink flamingoes into it.

Had trio practice last night. Tried out two new cover tunes and took an old original off the shelf to work on a new arrangement for it. Drank tea. Had fun.

Current pedalboards. They are similar, but feature different flavors of dirt, and hints of modulation are available in the reverb pedal on the top board, but in the delay on the lower one. I set the tuner pedals off a bit so I'm less likely to mute everything when aiming for the dirt pedal mid-song.

My condolences to all the KISS fans out there. Just saw the news that Ace Frehley has left the building.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

This was a great show, btw
Going to a show tonight. Gonna see The Tallest Man on Earth. I know OF him, but am only somewhat familiar. Anyway, hoping we're well back in the audience so my neck won't be too strained.
