I have three small Fender amps (brown and tweed are customized, black is mostly stock, but I upgraded the tubes and speaker).
Current pedalboards. They are similar, but feature different flavors of dirt, and hints of modulation are available in the reverb pedal on the top board, but in the delay on the lower one. I set the tuner pedals off a bit so I'm less likely to mute everything when aiming for the dirt pedal mid-song.

I have not been on this particular island in over twenty years, but used to spend the three Summer months here when I was a kid. The coast of Maine is nothing short of glorious.

It's the first #Caturday of Summer, and we're without our wonderful Reggie, who made his way across the bridge this past Monday. He was just shy of 20. We'd had him since he was four months old, a rescued feral kitten. Reg was an absolute joy. Seven toes on each paw, and an enormous personality.

It's a sad #Caturday at our house. This wonderful boy crossed the bridge on Thursday. He was 17. Loved by all who met him, Admin is off to boss around the afterlife.

Timeline cleanse, guitar geek edition. Here's another pedalboard. Since I reconfigured the main gigging board, these pedals were languishing in a drawer. This made me sad. Wondered if they might fit on one of those new "picoboards" from Electro Harmonix. They do.

Terry is still very much alive here at our house. He has his own little corner bookcase, and there are over 8000 other books here to keep him company. We really ought to have an librarian, but we can't afford the bananas.

Put it all together today. New wiring harness, all tidy and ready to rock. I find it amusing that I keep taking effects OFF my main pedalboard. But the adjustable modulations on the reverb and delay boxes give me just enough of what I want. And they play nicely together. Very pleased.

Clara, who does not snuggle very often, did so this morning on the couch with me. There was considerable purring involved. It was a very happy #Caturday here.

Going to this concert by my friend Cliff and his pals tomorrow night. This is a wonderful tour they make across the country each year, and if they're coming to a town near you next Winter, get tickets early.
