The current administration is trying to taking away the legal personhood status of at least two marginalized groups (immigrants, trans folks) in an attempt to make it so the law doesn't apply.

Thanks to @professorgerdes.bsky.social I just learned that Russia has so few tanks left, that for their 9th May military parade in Noscow, they're having to borrow hardware from Kazakhstan.
