I saw this picture and then put my head in my hands for a solid five minutes.
Gonna do my bit to make America healthy again à la Mike Tyson by eating an elephant’s ear for breakfast and then a spicy garlic pig ear stir fry for lunch.

It’s not the best, but I like it; basically this is the card that got me back into Magic

What's your pet card for +1/+1 counter decks? I refuse to build one in green without access to Sporeback Troll.

Do you have any idea how annoying this card can be?

Two mana cantrip creatures are much better than you think.

Drawing two cards at two or three mana is better than you think.

Card flow matters so much more than you realize.
Hey #edh

What is a small tip or trick you've applied to your deckbuilding that has made a huge difference?

It could be something as simple as "swap out something iffy for a land" or as specific as "don't run thought vessel in a discard deck".

What decks have you applied these to? Tell me!

We're going back to Strixhaven, a set that means so much to me as a higher education professional. And in a few short weeks you'll be able to read something from me linking the work I do at a college to some of the ways we play Magic.

Stay tuned.

I like that approach, it changes "slowing down the game" into "you can only attack me if you really mean it"

I don’t really know what I expect in posting this, but maybe some people see it and can learn from it.

I’ll call it “lessons from an unwilling immigration attorney.”
