This is shameful: his aunt created the Special Olympics and his cousin created Best Buddies. He could have asked around the table at holidays and become a better person.

You can be against the burdens for those with #ProfoundAutism without hating the neurodiverse. He could, you know, help.
"Kennedy’s disgust with and devaluation of autistic people fits neatly into a eugenic logic that views health as virtue, and sees illness, or difference, as a kind of moral lapse which should be subject to punishment or censure."
RFK Jr. is wrong about autism
His lies endanger neurodivergent people — and everyone else.

(The complaint is well-done.)

47 is truly an amazing president. In 1 swift move, he was able to persuade me, a @cornelllaw.bsky.social grad and @usarmy.bsky.social veteran, to root for @harvard.edu.

I hope 47's face turns red, er crimson, when he hears about this.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

"Objection, assumes facts not in evidence; lack of foundation; hearsay."
Leavitt: "I do just want to point out one thing. Everybody in Washington, whether they want to admit it or not, knows that this president is right when it comes to tariffs and when it comes to trade."

RFK saying he wants "new guidance" from the CDC seems to me like it would meet summary judgment standard for "arbitrary and capricious" administrative action. They want to give every kid cavities, because dying from measles isn't enough.
Mike Johnson will make sure all your kids are toothless and malnourished before he will lift a finger to stand up to Donald Trump. He doesn't give a damn for anyone but his own short-term political futures. It is the opposite of the leadership we need.
Mike Johnson on RFK Jr pushing to remove fluoride from water: "From what I've read and what I understand, it deserves real evaluation. There's a concern that it may be having a negative impact on the health of children ... I don't have the answers."

Please step down as minority leader.

@booker.senate.gov is our leader now.

If you voted for Trump, consider reading a neutral viewpoint of the economic effects of his policies. I'd say the Economist is reliably conservative in the "small c" sense of the word. They know that businesses need stability to invest.
Donald Trump has committed the most profound, harmful and unnecessary economic error in the modern era. Almost everything he said—on history, economics and the technicalities of trade—was utterly deluded econ.st/3YbbFjq

We knew that you don't title “Houthi PC Small Group” if it was the first time.

This is an egregious pattern that makes it clear:

These people obviously cannot keep our servicemembers—or any of us—safe.

It's almost like we should have a constitutional amendment, or two, to ensure that there's some amount of necessary process to create an opportunity to ensure that our government protects the rights it was created to protect by giving people notice and an opportunity to be heard.
The Trump administration called it an “administrative error.” But that error led to a nightmare for Maryland Resident Abrego Garcia.

@booker.senate.gov is my senator, and I appreciate him because of how he thinks about how he can serve his constituents instead of how he can serve himself.

He did this as mayor of Newark, and he's doing it now.
I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

Why does IRS Form 1023, Part IV, qn 7 not recognize that all organizations will create copyrighted materials in the ordinary course of business. It should be limited to *registered copyrights* to match the intent of the question without requiring sensible people to disregard the language as written.

Telling me you've changed your T&C might be the minimal thing your lawyers tell you to do, but it's a good way to waste my attention. At least tell me what changed.

Ex. J Crew emailed to say they're changing the loyalty program and linked to new T&Cs. Loyalty program changes? Not a single clue….

Crappy company tells, # 7:

When your company is no good, slap on a social mission.

"Our socks are so good that for every pair you buy, we donate a pair to a kid who doesn't even have food."

Not every company with a social mission is crappy, but you can spot these slap-ons a mile away.

This is old, from 2020, but this story (https://www.gq.com/story/white-supremacists-fbi-virginia?utm_source=nextdraft&utm_medium=email) is about right-wing militants who named themselves "the Base."

If you've got a good memory, you'll remember immediately that in Arabic, that's "Al-Qaeda." https://

Why do so many small venture investors/funds seem to think that having past employees who gained restricted stock for their efforts is some kind of scarlet letter for a startup?

I've never seen a traditional fund refuse to invest because an early founder was on the cap table.
