No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you.

Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser.

Is anyone’s microwave in a good spot? Mine’s in a kitchenette totally separate from the fridge/oven (super inconvenient during mealtime). Meanwhile, my friend’s microwave is so low to the ground on a kitchen shelving unit they call it the ‘floorcrowave.’

$TRUMP is wrong. This is wrong.
Even the crypto bros recognize Trump’s set-up as an obvious scam.

Nexos.ai, as the startup is called, is the handiwork of Tomas Okmanas (pictured above) […]

Love that this thread is happening before my eyes right now.
To close the loop: A Bluesky dev confirms not all Bluesky feed algos are open, though some are. Which means my OP was itself potentially misleading, though the broader point stands that you can choose your own and aren't reliant on a "black box" to decide what you see. bsky.app/profile/samu...

yeah, not every algorithm is open source, but many are, and you have the free choice to pick which ones you want to use

Opinion | I support Trump because he always tells it like it is. Here's why he's not being literal about wanting to invade Greenland.

Bill Nye was awarded the Medal of Freedom!
I remember watching Bill Nye as a kid back in 80s when he was on Almost Live! (Seattle's version of SNL) when he did not just science, but also played the superhero Speed Walker: 🚶🦸‍♂️ 🤣

I don’t think people understand how devastating the end of net neutrality, and consumer protections around internet connectivity, are going to be. Imagine the situation where you pay for 4 or 5 different streaming services, each with different “exclusives” — but for the Internet itself.
