I have made Elis James (and producer Dave) and Mark Kermode laugh. What more could anyone want from life.

Over on twitter my pinned tweet was a thread of all of the films I watched, with my semi-immediate reaction to them.

So I guess now’s as good a time as any to get that started over here as well…
Every 2… 3 years it seems that Adam Sandler has to do a film which reminds us the he can act.

“Jay Kelly” is that film for 2025.

I’m a little over halfway through and really loving it, and Adam Sandler is just brilliant. To the point where I am forgetting that I’m watching Adam Sandler.

Here we have Grok AI blindly speculating on the name of the ex-footballer arrested today.

If I was Alli or Wilshere I’d be speaking to my lawyers right about now…

What a win that was!! What a team this is!

Disappointing that. I thought we’d actually started quite well, but then a heavy pass in midfield gives it a way and then a bit unorganised in defence.

Going to have to come from behind again.

I think… I might have just finished my Xmas shopping

Nearly £20 for a journey which last less than half an hour.

Every other journey on the same line around it is £8. (Guess which one I need to get!)

The new Bond needs to do nothing of the sort.

The Craig films work as a self contained series showing Bond from start to finish.

Moving forward, ignore them, start again, pretend they didn’t happen.

What you absolutely don’t try to do is bring him back from the dead.

This should be obvious…

Oh my word!!!!! That is insane!

Another stoppage time goal! Another substitute making a huge impact!! What a finish by Brobbey!!

All those people that were writing him off, where the fuck are you now!!!

TIL THE END!!!!

Dan Ballard man!! What a bloke!!

Dominant defensively tonight so far and that was a hell of a finish! Smashing it past Raya

That’s an incredibly soft free kick. Isidor barely touched him.

I’ll feel hard done by if they score from this

I really like Everton as a club. Proper fans and classy off the pitch - the clubs continued support for the Bradley Lowery Foundation a great example of this.

I hope we batter them tonight, but I hope that they go on to have a decent season. Despite David Moyes.

Been a really enjoyable game this so far! Couple of great goals, West Ham hitting the woodwork three times, and penalty that was then wasn’t.

Really good stuff for a neutral

Leicester a really poor. Toothless up front, and defensively they constantly play themselves into trouble trying to play out from the back. They just can’t handle a press.

I hate saying it, as I’ve lived in Leicester for the past 10 years, but if a points deduction does come their way, they’re…

This is a really lovely touch from the club!

Edgar Wright is easily up there with one of my favourite directors. The sound of his films, the way they look, the way they’re edited… the attention to details in every possible aspect is incredible.

This scene encapsulates it all. The song is perfect, the transition from present to past…

Bit behind the curve but I just finished watching this and thought it was absolutely brilliant! A proper celebration of film, and send up of Hollywood, with a fantastic cast. The celebrity cameos, playing themselves, are brilliant done, and the direction - especially in the…

A hill on which I am willing to die:

No superhero film should ever be an origin story.

And I’m not just talking about your Batmans and Spider-Man’s, where we have seen it before. I’m talking about all of them.

How they got there powers is rarely important. Their past yes, but not the origin…

I think with some of our other signings Enzo Le Fee goes under the radar a little this season. But he’s been fantastic. He plays with a desire and tenacity that you wouldn’t necessarily expect from him, and is really make that left wing position his own!

Wilson Isidor.

A great player, but also just a fantastic personality! Someone who bought into the club almost immediately.

Just saw that Ross Stewart is now injured again until the new year. I really feel for the guy. He’s someone that should have had an opportunity to test himself in the Premier League but it increasingly feels like he’s finished

His body just doesn’t seem to be able to cope with professional football
