The US constitution wasn’t based on the Bible, it was based on the principles of the Enlightenment in Europe. People my age were taught this in elementary school. I remember being extremely bored by it. I’m so offended that I now have to defend the homework I tried so hard to avoid.

I think a lot of people were expecting the road to genocide would be a sharp turn that they could boldly object to rather than simply a continuation of the policies and ideas they already sign off on.
