The painting @ribbonotes.bsky.social did of my mom came back from the framer today. With the number of artists including both of my great grandmothers on that side of the family I really wanted to honor both the family legacy and my mom through this and I think Lessie nailed it.

Give yourself a goal. Write it down. Start small. Something Iike: 'I want to write 1000 words today'. Put it on a post-it and stick it somewhere within eyeshot. It's a lot harder to goof off if that goal is staring you right in the face.
