Pardons to reflect the fact that people were unjustly convicted under morally iniquitous laws, administered in an independent, reasoned and non-partisan way - definitely a place for those.

Arbitrary absolution of criminals on the basis of political or personal favour? Failing state stuff.

Rishi Sunak and his wife avoiding public scrutiny by changing their company to 'unlimited'... just as David Cameron did ...

Seems to be a pattern with Tory Prime Ministers eh?

I wonder why..... hmmmmmmmm
👀Is Rishi Sunak trying to avoid public scrutiny?

He just switched his new company “The office of Akshata Murty and Rishi Sunak” from a limited company to an “unlimited” company.

This means he no longer has to make his company accounts public 👀⤵️

Good morning, Glasgow. If you haven't looked out your window yet, this is currently what's going on outside - the first snow of the winter has arrived and is starting to lie in the streets. It's also bitterly cold!

Lots of bad decisions behind this, of course, but let's not forget that the UK Government looked at a thriving export industry, concluded that by selling education to foreigners we were being too nice to them, and deliberately made the student visa regime more hostile.
"Sector leaders expected more than 100 of the UK’s 140-odd universities to be making redundancies by the start of 2025, in what has been described as a “cataclysmic” situation where “everything is on the table”."
