Stand up to those delivery fees…

Public utilities work. Nebraska powers its entire state this way—with lower rates and better service than private utilities. Even here in RI, the publicly owned Clear River Electric & Water District proves this model can deliver cheaper, more reliable energy.

Rhode Islanders deserve reliable, affordable energy—not skyrocketing rates that pad corporate profits. That’s why I introduced H5161, a bill to explore public power as an alternative to investor-owned utilities.

"There is enough money to fund what #RI families need. The Q isn’t whether we have the resources; it’s whether we have the courage. When the wealthiest claim they can’t afford to contribute more, while working families struggle, we know something isn’t right.”

RIDE is not an example of leadership, so much waste on taxpayers.
How about we give our hardworking teachers a bonus?
Appalling. Bonuses should reward success, not failure. While Rhode Island students and schools struggle, taxpayers are funding a $10K bonus for the Education Commissioner—on top of a massive salary increase. This is not how accountability works.
