gamefaqs was like a devil's bargain, where you actually got to have longform posts and guides... but also had to deal with barely-not-mask-off trolls that were only banned for egregious infractions and mostly had their karma nickeled and dimed as a slap on the wrist to keep them from acting worse

i think the fundamental error of the constitution's idea of lifetime judicial appointment was that instead of insulating people from political pressures, it simply insulated them from political pressures of people /without enough money/
