I’ve been struggling to work out why I don’t like them. I’ve concluded it’s because a) they look terrible and b) they take away from the personal nature of wearing a poppy & remembrance

At least it's better than breakfast... I want great music - preferably stuff I didn't realise I'd love - without the excruciating 'down with the kids' gimmicks (Morning Stretch, Not the Nine..etc)

I grew up with the BBC original in the 70s but the remake is very well done: low on sick animals, strong on gentle cozy comedy & heartwarming endings

Always wanted to visit Quai Branly: might work for that age. Also conciergerie (I enjoyed its horrible history as a young teen). If weather dodgy a wander through the passages decouvertes from Cadet metro down to Palais Royal can be very atmospheric.
