it's an extremely hard month for many people who rely on snap benefits. not only am i having medical issues, am losing snap, but i had to drop my car off at the shop today. i do not know the price yet but any help is immense to me.
needing to ask for help with medical fees i will be accruing because i haven't been cleared for insurance yet. i have an appointment tomorrow for first steps on what may be endo. for weeks i have been ill and i can barely move today. thank you.

Nah, I hard disagree-
I think there’s plenty of fascinating conflict and storytelling to be had in the difficult unraveling of those concepts in radically restructured peacetime.
You can still play people clinging to the old guard or distrustful/paranoid of openly embracing the new too quickly.

I might be in the minority here, but I enjoyed Ishgard more when it was a crushing, oppressive Theocracy where one misstep could be interpreted as heresy.
While Aymeric's Ishgard is undoubtedly BETTER for it's people, it's worse for the setting as a whole in my opinion. . .

Avenrhi hasn’t realized a morning cup of coffee makes a huge difference between farm mornings in La Noscea & how she feels on herbal teas in Gelmorra.

Right? More important to have a nice sandbox for crafting your own storytelling imho
If CBU3 heeded the most common complaints about the MSQ the main cast would have like a hundred characters (several of whom would have died solely based on audience dislike) and the story would make even less sense than Destiny 2 for people new to the game.
my post-spoiler 7.3 complaint is that fiction is a constructed object and people are expecting things out of an mmo which just aren’t really feasible within the medium

Ul’dah feels narratively like home, and is impossible to separate as an adventuring start for my main at this point, but the Middle La Noscea field theme coming up at daybreak will always carry the nostalgic weight of those early levels of sprout era for me.
After many years it's hard to say which starting citystate I like in FFXIV because two have such severe continuously unsolved problems, and the other is just not my type/lame. But Gridania being the most walkable and having BENCHES everywhere for good roleplaying is honestly a winner.
