Eh, I play ffxiv primarily for a shared collective consciousness world sandbox to tell stories at each other in. Pushing buttons on the daily in familar patterns also makes me feel competant game, but it's the roleplaying that keeps me in and subbed on the daily.

I don't always hand out in game items, but I had just made my first bundle of 'em that week and was excited that they'd put in a raid food that had been on our RP menu since we first opened, so I wanted to dole 'em out.

I play Journey like once a year, bawl hysterically, then turn around and log back into ffxiv.
Avenrhi sleeps like the dead through the darkest days of winter. She calls it her restorative sleep- throughout the rest of the year, unless she’s at home for the night, rest never quite feels so complete, but it’s enough for function.

Ruckus still struggles with falling asleep alone with his thoughts, so a bit of ambient noise is ideal to fall asleep to- some other f his easiest falling asleep has been in the middle of a murmuring lounge. When he does have bed company, backrubs also help.

There's no formal practice for that but to roam and to live.

At heart he knows that embedded as he is in merchantile culture, sort of expected to pay due homage to the Traders and value the fair exchange of reciprocity, he is at heart Oschon's own and follows the whims of his heart and the connections he makes on his journeying.

He wound up making pilgrimage with his other girlfriend a few weeks later, doing a walk between the shrines of Thal's Respite, the Mark of the Warden, and Nald's Reflection, and found the act of that spiritual practice much more personally fulfilling.

It was certainly more Ul'dahn-centric & divine-right-of-rule Sultanate preaching than he was used to hearing out at the Church of Adama Landama, which concerned itself mostly with laying people of impoverished fortunes or impoverished virtues seeking humility to rest & serving the locals of Drybone.

Love this, a solid mingling of Dravanian/Coerthan flavors! (I think I might swap the cinnamon flavoring out for a roasted dark chestnut puree blended into the creams)
free headcanon to a loving home: i was contemplating an ishgardian holiday punch recipe and settled on a milk punch (yak milk and sweet cream feature often in hw recipes) sweetened with old world fig syrup (+ birch syrup for MAJOR sweet tooths), with vanilla, cinnamon, and a furymint garnish 😋😋
