Sadly, the headlines this week remind us that when money incentivizes issues of decency, decency flies out the window while the pockets of politicians are nestled with perks. Can it be that no one cares about right/wrong anymore?

Please make sure you read and share this.
I saw the whole thing. All it was was a lineup of cars with some crosses along the way and it went for miles. It was a memorial for people that were killed. This is not a genocide. The genocide happened during the apartheid. I just happen to be in South Africa in 1994 so I know a little something

Admittedly, I stole this post from The Dark Side, but it was worth it.

Someone vandalized the sign at Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C. in Sterling, Virginia.

It now reads "Fat Nixon."

I had a surprise this very cold February afternoon when an EasternTowhee came barreling onto my deck and landed on my feeder. He only stayed a couple of seconds before barreling off wherever birds that are totally never seen this time of year go to. Has anyone in New England seen one in Feb?

I know all too well the generation of Kennedys that were the entitled spawn that grew up after me on Cape Cod. We were members of the same Hyannis parish. My family is interred in their cemetery. RFK Jr’s lack of caring for others is no surprise. His brother paralyzed a girl for life- on Nantucket.

All of America is focused upon the waters of the Potomac as people rush to find survivors of the collision of the American Airlines commercial jet and a Blackhawk helicopter, near the 14th street bridge. Let us lay our differences aside and realize that our lives can be altered in a moment.

I am distressed to learn that this post by Eric Trump apparently was real, posted on “that other site.”

Trump Fired Highest-Ranking Woman in Military at His Ball
Source: TheDailyBeast

The level of cruelty that DJT likes to dish out is sadistic. This 40 year career officer was informed of her firing as she stood on line to shake Trump’s hand. Her offense? support of DEI policies- Coast guard.

I took some more photos of poor Pepper today. He is so sweet and loving and gentle but nobody has wanted to adopt him just because he looks a little bit scrungly. 😢 Please share with anyone you know in northern Vermont who might be interested! www.hsccvt.org/Cats#sl_embe...

On this 77th New Year’s Day of my life, I began to remember what made it memorable some 70 years ago being a kid in Central New York when the clock read 12:00. The city’s factories cranked out good shoes and air conditioner components. At midnight then you opened windows to hear the factory whistles

Finally, some rest and peace for Jimmy Carter. Regardless of what people thought of his presidency, I think most of us saw how he lived his faith for as many days as he was given to serve humanity.
