That kind of hematoma under the skin is not the thing that indicates an immediate crisis. Those of us on blood thinners know that an IV under the skin of a hand will produce it. The crisis is the buildup of fluid in the body that can show the kidneys shutting down. That’s not a good sign.

I’d like all of you to know that having Canadians as our neighbors has been comforting. Your best qualities are the ones we try to emulate, the ones our Constitution was crafted to encourage. I have an ap that lets me listen to police depts. and often I tune into Toronto to hear how nice they are.

When I told my husband, who is a southerner, that Louisiana’s Surgeon General appears to be a veterinarian he said “well actually, that’s a step up. Before this the criteria was a 5th grade education.”
