I think often about how the aftermath of 9/11 caused my first faith crisis as an adult. I was not skilled in what to do, but I knew the warmongering, the bombing, the violence, was wrong but the majority of people I trusted to speak to me about God were cheerleading for it.

I think it’s mostly not taught this way because most of us are taught to think that enslaved people had way less agency than they did, combined with being taught to think that Lincoln’s proclamation had way more agency than it did.

Just heard from a Minnesota farmer who fronted her own money for some conservation work because USDA had a contractual agreement to reimburse her.

Musk’s freeze means she’s out that money and USDA is refusing to reimburse.
