Kenyan #journalist Alvin Kaunda was reporting live from Nairobi when a curious baby #elephant, Kindani, decided to join the broadcast. The playful elephant stuck her trunk in Alvin's mouth, making for a hilarious moment! A joyful reminder of wildlife's charm and the work of the Sheldrick Trust!

As British soldiers were being evacuated from Dunkirk, the 1st Canadian Division was already in the UK as the only fully armed force to defend the shores.
This photo of Canadians in the Battle of Britain is displayed across from our parliament.
We fought fascism from day 1.

RFK has me worried. My dog had her vaccinations yesterday and our water has fluoride in it so now I have to check her hourly to see if she has become autistic.

When Mike Myers wore his "Canada Is Not For Sale" t-shirt on SNL, he mouthed a secret code: "elbows up."
It's a reference to the great Gordie "Mr. Elbows" Howe who punished those that messed with his team.
You heard him Canada: elbows up.
If anyone asks why, tell them that Mike Myers sent you.

I laid the wreathe for Canadians murdered by Nazis in the Abbaye d'Ardennes.
Our young lie in fields all over Europe.
They fought to free others from evil.
For Elon Musk to give the fascist salute and say it's time to "get over nazi guilt" - Fuck him.
And fuck those who say Canada should bend.

If someone chooses to live in a smaller home in the inner city in part to avoid a long commute, they generally don’t pressure society to build them a bigger house with more stuff. So if you choose a bigger stuff-filled house in the suburbs, don’t expect society to build you a fast car commute.

I realize now that I have a “trade deficit” with the store across the street. I walked over and bought a jug of milk. The store is abusing me and I’m tired of subsidizing it by buying something at a fair price that I want. I’m going to apply a tariff that will raise the future price of milk for me.

Seriously, everyone needs to watch this, and share it with anyone still confused. Then realize that THIS IS WHAT TRUMP IS ABOUT TO START A HUGE TRADE WAR OVER WITH USA’s CLOSEST ALLY, hugely hurting both countries, either because he doesn’t understand this, or he does but doesn’t care.
IMPORTANT: If you live in the United States or Canada, you’ve probably heard Trump‘s constant claim that the United States is “subsidizing” Canada. It’s wrong of course, but here’s the best explanation I’ve seen about how & why it’s wrong. PLEASE WATCH & SHARE IT A LOT. Kudos to Andrew Chang & CBC.
