Feeing very accomplished rn. I dropped a stitch & picked it up, but it looked wrong. On the next row, I dropped it on purpose & picked it up the other way around. Now it's perfect.
First big knitting project since my mum died, so I have no one on hand to ask. I'm now the person to ask. Welp.

Youngest kiddo just got a jump scare when his dad, who was wearing all black, said hi as he walked past. The yelp he yelped made me jump!

Have started a knitting project. Realised while casting on that a) I definitely prefer crochet and b) I need stitch counters. Oh, and c) it'll be a miracle if this is ready for Xmas, which is when it's meant to be.

The Gala committee braved really high winds today to erect the gala flags along the seafront. It's always good to see them out the window, but I do hope Gala week is warmer and less breezy.
