#WhatDidWePlayYesterday #CattailsWildwoodStory This is the sequel to Cattails, which my kid spent a lot of time with. IWildwood is a "more of that" sequel with updated portraits and a strong emphasis on building the town and recruiting cats to join your colony. I caught many ladybugs.

i piped in tinypng to compress images, but i realized my page load was 8mb (D: !!) so i added thumbnails and dropped it to 1mb. added pagination today and its under 400kb hell yeah.
netlify is terrifyingly fast, and with bw cap that's idk 5k monthly. i'm the only one who visits so we're good lads.

my homebrew static blog generator has become a source of joy. i am reinventing the wheel (as my people are wont to do) but sometimes i prefer having a little scrappy thing that does exactly what i want instead of overriding standardized features on a big thing that is way more complex than i need
