How did Pete Hegseth not end up as a college football coach?
Seeing Wicked For Good this weekend reminds me there are quite a few fantasy movie series (Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc) which have a plot very reflective of what’s happening in the US today. Not sure whether Trump is Sauron, the Wizard, Voldemort, or Emperor Palpatine though.

Really not that different than today’s stock market. Companies charge consumers outrageous prices & make outrageous profits, making their CEO & high level execs millions. They then return a small portion to shareholders via dividends. And yeah, this is a scam too.
Tariffs are taxes. When Trump levies new taxes on Americans without any approval by Congress and then talks about giving some of it back, that's not a "reward" – it's a scam.

Fox Nation having a show called “Scammed-Getting Even” seems ironic since Fox News’ business model is scamming naive viewers. When will we realize he doesn’t care? He used voters to get power-they’re useless to him now. He used Congress to authorize his secret police force-it’s now been shut down. He got the Supreme Court to grant him immunity from the law-he’ll now ignore it if he needs to. Welcome to the U.S. of Trump.

Does this mean Gov Pritzker could deploy the Illinois National Guard to protect citizens from illegal abductions & harassment?

We need to put two & two together & recognize this behavior has been exacerbated by the behavior of Trump. Too many US citizens believe if we have a President who behaves boorishly it gives them Carte Blanche to do the same. We should be embarrassed not only by this behavior, but also by Trump.

Let me offer a different take on this, while acknowledging it is bad news for individuals who will lose jobs or revenue because of the move. But this lessens Colorado’s ties to the federal government & increases the incentive for the state to take bold action to oppose the Trump regime.

Kids today don't realize it, but you used to be able to turn on ESPN and not see Stephen A. Smith or Pat McAfee. They were glorious times....
