For those of you who are wondering how Scotland's national public broadcaster could ignore our national day in this way: Scotland is forced to pay for the BBC as its national public broadcaster - but, remarkably, has no control over it.

Dr. Jane Goodall filmed an interview in March 2025 with the understanding it would only be released after her death.
This is her final message from it.

I might understand supporting Labour in England if your only alternative was Reform (it's really not).

But in Scotland and Wales? There's no such excuse. The SNP, Scottish Greens, Plaid are all better choices.

This is a new low for Starmer's party.
… there is no “golden ticket”… Bt

There is a dog whistle called “golden ticket”
They are “stopping “ something that never existed

If anyone spoke to asylum seekers.. (I worked with them) .. they are given less than the bare minimum & are housed in flea pits .. it’s actually deeply inhumane

It speaks volumes about the dire state of British politics that an MP can say that she gets mad about seeing Black and Asian people in adverts on TV and she hasn't immediately been expelled from her party - a party that hopes to form the next Govt.

A cornerstone of Labour's campaign against the SNP is its claim that the NHS in Scotland is failing.

Yet by most measures it's doing consistently better than England under Labour.

And judging by this, things are only going to get worse in England...

Comrades & friends, Expect the Holyrood elections in 2026 to be the nastiest election ever. The unionists know that they are on a hiding to nothing, So they will conflate, obfuscate & damn well lie to promise you that the empire is still #BetterTogether What they won't do is recognise any of this.👇

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

British media pumps out daily propaganda pieces for Farage, fails to offer *any scrutiny* and basically legitimises rampant racism, then puts on its ‘innocent face’ and clutches its pearls at the rise of the far right…
What a grim betrayal of our democracy.

Reform, with 0.7% of all MPs, featured in 25% of BBC's recent 10pm news bulletins
Astonishingly, a party with 18 times as many MPs as Reform has received one-third less coverage on BBC News at 10.

What's very important right now: don't call stupid people for not knowing this.

The info is available, but there are too much distractions at the moment. We see more images in one day than someone living in the middle ages in their whole life time. So don't blame someone for getting distracted.
We all need to be having these conversations.

Farage dodged parliament, went to the US, slagged off the UK, lied to Congress, grifted for donations and hoped to persuade the US to punish us for the Online Safety Act. And got his arse handed back to him.
You’d think our ‘patriotic’ media would go nuts. But no. Some quiet mumbling. Beyond feeble.

There is a worrying trend with these clowns who wish to demonise the refugees & asylum seekers that we house in our hotels in Scotland. I had hoped this was only an English thing as Scotland has always been an inclusive & welcoming country. But now it has grown arms & legs because of the far right.
