It is insane to have entered the same situation in Toronto where he had already experienced this with Gaudreau and Calgary, only to let it happen again with the same results.

A rebuilding pitfall is that good players look worse on rebuilding teams because they have no one to play with and ok players look better because they have no one on the roster to drive down their minutes.
It's easy to confuse a bottom 6 player playing 19 minutes a night with being a top 6 player.
