It's been 8 years since I completed my thru-hike of the #AppalachianTrail. Even after all these years, I am still learning lessons from that pilgrimage about myself, my place in the world, and our world. My soul is forever changed by my journey.

This Spring, I will embark on another. Stay tuned.

It took us longer to get the garlic planted than we had intended. 300 cloves will hopefully all become full bulbs next Spring. We love growing garlic. If you're local to Merrimack Valley, we'd be happy to share some of our exta cloves for planting. Should plant them by this week, though!

News has just broke that Trump plans to eject trans people from the military within days of inauguration.

Trans servicemembers who have served 19 years will lose their pensions and healthcare.

This is obscene. They served our country, and will be kicked to the side like trash.

Today is Transgender Day of Rememberance. I'm thinking of the friends I've lost to suicide and violence and holding their memories closer to my heart today.

I am finding it quite unbearable to watch Sarah McBride bear the grotesque attack of her colleagues with so much grace. I know it is what we have been taught to expect of trailblazers, but I am increasingly struggling to accept this.
