We need one last push here - because of some of the funding loss of a private donor - our rates are going up. They don’t have to go up as much - if we hit 10k. Childcare. Yes. Childcare is important - and this group, is doing it well.

I grew up having ONE toilet in the house.
In our house now, we have 3. We are having issues with our main toilet / guest toilet.
And it’s a way bigger issue than we ever had when we just had one toilet.

I started writing my year in review…and wowza, how do I begin? I realized how much I shifted to reposting articles and stories vs. sharing my own work. It’s easier. But, I guess I better get going in a few updates!

Today’s lunch at Saturday Dumpling Club might have been our best family dining experience yet. The food was incredible, the kids were happy, and they actually ate a ton—no complaints, just all of us enjoying a meal together.

Sometimes you find yourself on hands and knees, wiping up a spill in the middle of an event—both cameras still on—because sometimes it’s more important to make sure no one slips than to get the next shot.

I had six family sessions today - four with returning clients, one referred by a returning client, and one was a professional client - turned into a family client! It was such an enjoyable day. Over the years, we’ve built wonderful relationships, and that made everything feel relaxed…

People are always like “you are so good at taking your kids places, you’re always going to fun places!” And this is because I’m awful at having them at home and they are awful at being at home. The only way to live is to constantly be at the zoo or similar.
