Welcome to South Asian Artists in Scotland!

In July 2024 National Theatre of Scotland offered a free networking event for South Asian artists where it became clear that we need more opportunities to gather and champion each other’s work.

We hope to bring a small portion of those aims to fruition.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.

Season 2?
Hmm... you're not the first to ask 🤞🏽
Binged the rest of the series last night. Superb cast, acting, script, scenery, story, everything came together -- just a great overall show, the best I've seen on Netflix in a long, long time.

And of course now, the question is: how long until Season 2? 😎

Really impressed with DEPARTMENT Q so far. So cool to see so many talented people working in a really well crafted Netflix drama. Really impressive production, the Edinburgh locations, the music, and of course the writing... It's the coolest thing and I'm glad it's out! Well done to all involved!

Attended the cast and crew screening of Dept Q (ep. 1) last night.

5 stars!

For those with a keen eye, catch me in a few episodes. Just don't blink ;)

Thanks to director Scott Frank for the opportunity, and my agent Rozzy at Narrow Road for arranging the meetings.

There should be no doubt about the danger Reform poses in Scotland. It has reach across large sections of society, across class divides and demographics. It will win seats here. It may even become the party of opposition in Holyrood. It is not England, it is here. Ignoring it won't make it go away.
"Farage’s Reform Party plans a full-frontal electoral attack on Scotland. It intends to contest the next Holyrood general election in 2026. You can be sure that Reform is in the process of building a well-funded and well-resourced electoral machine. There will be no shortage of cash."

Thank you to everyone who came along to the private screening of my short film, KINAARA, at the Glasgow Film Theatre last week.

Congratulations to cast and crew, without whom it would not have been possible to transform the film from script to screen.

Unbelievable.
Donald Trump has been invited to a state visit to the UK.
We should not be rolling out the red carpet to celebrate this man.

This is UNBELIEVABLE. Keir Starmer has just handed Donald Trump a letter from King Charles, inviting him for a second state visit to the UK. It’s totally unprecedented, and I was so outraged when I he...
