She/Her. Cradle to Grave Atheist.

Cats are magic. Books are life.

When I was 5 years old I wanted to live at the library. Nothing has changed.

Greg went to the nonfiction section, placing books about aliens and wizards next to biographies and tourist guides.

Vicki rushed over, scowling, and took out her magic wand. "You're the worst employee I've ever had! I'm demoting you to bookshop cat."

He fought back a smile. "Oh dear."

I like the cover art for An Introvert's Guide to Life and Love, created by Elizabeth M. Oliver. It seems counterintuitive, but I like cartoon characters on romance covers. It isn't going to tell me how spicy the book is, but it does add a bit of whimsy. It assures me that it should have an HEA. 💙📚

Today's tea is Pu-erh. Its so good, smooth and perfect. I save it for when I can savor it. I'm finishing A Duke Never Tells and listening to the rain. I am getting a haircut today, going to cut off like 6 inches. I'm nervous and excited. #booksky #teasky ☕️🍵🫖 💙📚 🎧📚 🌶📚

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

New shop in my little corner of #Wales has offered to stock my books!😀That's a first!
Many of you will know the struggle us indies face here in the UK when it comes to store presence, so I'm grateful.

Quoting this to make it easier for me to find later.

I was gaming on my new laptop and suddenly a bigass window appeared over my game, suggesting I avail myself of some Windows 11 AI bullshit. My Dr. Lasertraps was fighting for his virtual life against monsters and suddenly Brainiac had to appear.
Sick and tired of AI? Here's how to remove Copilot from Windows 11.

Google AI is a nightmare for businesses. People call us daily and ask for random products and/or services that have nothing to do with what our business does and when you tell them that, they get hostile and rude and bark out, "Google says you do!"
