It’s amazing how fast they can build a concentration camp: “Alligator Alcatraz”— but they can’t manage to fix a levee, fund a hospital, or get clean water to poor communities.

Finally a corporation is reacting to what’s happening here. Don’t be surprised that it’s not a car company or a shampoo brand. They’re all still pretending that life is normal.

It’s a bookstore.

Barnes and Noble fills their store display windows with Orwell’s 1984 and Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale.

“Trump has arrested less than 600 illegals during the first 13 days of February.” Even Obama was able to deport ~ 1,200 illegal immigrants a day with less staff and no military support. Just another inept Trump program.

When exactly did place names become “broadly up for grabs because of an election”?

You’re treating this madness as a normal part of a presidential election. It is not and it never has been.
I hope it's clear that I am not defending the name change. It's ridiculous! Nor do I think it's popular. My point about "values" is that once place names are broadly up for grabs depending on who wins an election, they're going to change in ways that you might not like.

Either you can try to set the narrative or you can just get rolled by the people who happily fill the void you’ve left. Democrats need to be out there CONVINCING people of the importance of the federal government, its array of functions, and how it can be a force for good, to everyone’s benefit.
They got a poll (probably) which said people support reducing the federal workforce and they are so popularism-brained that they can't game this out any further
Dear Democratic Party: why are you not screaming this from every rooftop? Why are you not holding press conferences with these poor fired people - putting a face on what the richest man is destroying?

Imagine if Barack Obama or Joe Biden said they were above the law.

Imagine if Obama or Biden were pocketing tens of millions of dollars while they were in office.

Imagine if Obama or Biden pardoned people who violently attacked the Capitol to prevent a Republican from taking office.

A true tragedy
"One of the great tragedies of mankind is that morality has been hijacked by religion. So now people assume that religion and morality have a necessary connection. But the basis of morality is really very simple and doesn't require religion at all."
