had an absolutely brutal moment of self awareness as I realized that when I listen to ambient music called like Aleaeris 7: the Adonis Tapes by Hørst it's fulfilling the same purpose as my grandparents buying records called The Jimmy Cresp Orchestra Presents Tahitian Melodies

Asserting your privilege for the benefit of others is exactly what you are supposed to do when around police- it’s why I haul my middle aged white mom self to protests all the time- my presence literally makes others safer from cops and I should 100% weaponize that.

AT least three times a week I'll plan on cancelling one of my largely unwatched streaming services because $$. And then, like, Anatomy of a Fall drops on Hulu and there goes that idea.
