For Christmas Eve, I just opened a bottle of Makers Mark a dear friend gave me in 2008 — a special “Rock the Vote” edition bottle.
The friend passed away this year, and I thought it would be appropriate to finally open this bottle and have a drink and honor her memory...

Given the current direction of Florida leadership, I can no longer associate myself with FDEM as an alumnus.
My college. Gone, no semblance to what it was when I was there.
My 13 year career with FDEM/FLSERT. No respect for where it has headed.

The last time I can remember is doing this was 9/11, when families were frantically searching for any news regarding their loved ones. But here we are today.

#NewCollege has no football team. To remake the school of <500 students, #Desantis gave 70 baseball scholarships. Alabama #Rolltide has 27 baseball scholarships with >40k enrolled. I gave $97 (+fees) to put #NFC on the board for #charitybowl @hollyanderson.bsky.social @edsbs.bsky.social
