Laverbread (without oatmeal!), cockles fried with bread crumbs, local bacon & maybe even a sausage or two is the breakfast of Gods…one of my most favourite meals since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Swansea Market for the win👍 Add a few welshcakes, and a bara planc (covered in salty local butter)

Next week more like 1 or 2° overnight…that’s definitely colder ☺️. 12°C is almost summer temps😉

Looking cold overnight next week - even in London (normally a few degrees warmer than Kent, Sussex and the Home Counties)

Liquid Quality Street is a fine description!

I barely drink these days … maybe a Christmas or birthday glass of wine. A full bottle is way too much for me in my own…so one to share with friends and family I think

😂🤣. However at 9%, I suspect the afterglow will be like being accosted on a pitch dark night by a press gang

Got a couple of these 750ml bottles in the cupboard…to share with friends when I get a chance

I never knew they liked so much froth with their beer!

The head on those beers is almost criminal! Whoever poured those needs serious coaching in the etiquette of good beer

IMHO, food of the gods!

Looks like every branch of Cabela’s I’ve ever been in…it’s such a ‘unique’ and foreign experience😳

I don’t think this one has hit 20 years yet (more like 10 years old) - but we have a 2nd tree in storage that is close to 20 years old & still going strong, should my wife have a need for a 2nd dose of festive spirit somewhere else in the house (we do have a 3rd tree up permanently all year😳)

Artificial trees are a much easier proposition…and allow early deployment of festive fun (although the jury is still out on whether I’d call 24x7 festive Christmas tunes ‘fun’😁😂)

I think Ernie was 1970 & Clockwork Orange ‘71 - both excellent 1970s milk references

It’s fascinating to watch the adaptive lights adjust for cars in front, or coming the other way. They definitely break the field down into a grid and then illuminate only the areas that (shouldn’t) dazzle other cars

Had Janet dialup access around mid-80s - and had dial up access to the ULCC network at that time. I think our ADSL usage started in 2000 with one of the BT Alcatel stingray modems

We found these videos on YT for my son to explain the game to his (non-playing) friends - they are pretty good videos…and watching Mahjong Sparrow play is like watching one of our games at home youtube.com/@mahjongspar...
