Someone has just sent me an incredible short literature review on research I’m currently writing up. Unfortunately they did it all via ChatGPT and entirely hallucinated most of the studies.

Important topic! Patients returning from overseas for cosmetic surgical procedures and experiencing significant complications. This cohort included patients requiring admission and surgical interventions. Clear need for public education & regulation. www.clinicalkey.com#!/content/1-...

4.9 Trillion dollars wiped off the global market, and it isn’t even the end of the day. True american exceptionalism, #Trump has made Truss/Kwarteng look like complete amateurs.

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025... ah yes, the worst of both worlds. Still getting hit by some tariffs BUT ALSO offering tax cutes to mega-corporations whilst reducing support for the disabled in the spring budget. 🙄
Starmer offers big US tech firms tax cuts in return for lower Trump tariffs

“…The viral outrage disseminated on social media actually reduces the effectiveness of collective action. The result is a media environment that keeps us in a state of debilitating fear and anger, endlessly reacting to our oppressors instead of organizing against them.”
You Can’t Post Your Way Out of Fascism
Authoritarians and tech CEOs now share the same goal: to keep us locked in an eternal doomscroll instead of organizing against them, Janus Rose writes.

My partner has gotten bitten by our cat, and it appears to be infected. Two 111 / OOH ANP discussions later, she’s been sent to ED who have just sent her to OOH GP. I can’t help but think this system could be more efficient..

The place I work has just cancelled all my ED shifts, then reassigned me onto them at a lower rate. On a Friday, at 1730. Replies over email are set to out of office…

Depressing but interesting!
So let’s have a little look at the Right wing media feeding off its own ecosystem.

Here’s
@TiceRichard
claiming NET ZERO caused the Heathrow shut down, while sharing a Telegraph article that appears to back up his claim

Must be true then, right??

A little rusty on the social media, but got a chance to go back to Apothecaries Hall in London last week for the London Air Ambulance governance day. Clear highlight was Dr Roger Alcock who appears to have emergency-medicined almost everywhere.
