I agree, I love phantom menace. It’s just so draining to see so many terrible takes out there.
Wouldn’t it be far more interesting to talk about the things we observed, the interesting things we picked up on, compare and contrast etc? Engage with the art on its own terms?

I suppose the fact that Sidious wiped the floor with him, and the additional fact that Maul was an assassin (like Ventress), never an apprentice (like Dooku), has no bearing on the matter then.

Once again, nuance. Evil isn’t eradicated forever just because one ideology of evil is gone. Doesn’t mean balance isn’t resorted when one particularly evil ideology (the Sith, of which there are only ever two) is destroyed for good.
