This is the single most important advice any creative person needs to hear.
There are of course factors such as financial insecurity or mental and physical impediments (spoons ≠ motivation even though people will tell you they are the same) but when you can, do, whether you feel inspired or not.

For those writers out there who feel nervous about promoting your work and potentially screaming into the void, let me just say: it works! Whenever I see a little bump in downloads/sales for past issues, it tends to coincide with one of that issue's writers talking about it somewhere. Don't be shy!

I confess I don’t understand the “dearth of sources is why it was the Dark Ages” argument. Where was the lack? Certainly not in Byzantium, or anywhere with Orthodox Christians for that matter. Certainly not in Romance. Arabic. Slavonic. Norse. Archaeology exists. What am I missing here? Saxon shit?

Been thinking of re-doing this piece I did back in c.2015 for a while. It was one of my first ever digital art pieces.
I was very proud of it at the time and I'm honestly kinda impressed little me did as well as I did when using only GIMP and a mouse.

Lately I've been trying a looser, less exact method for coloring. It's a lot more fun and less stressful.
Testing some small character design changes. Idk what I'm doing with the clothes yet, so far I'm just throwing together some long flowing robes, I'll figure out something more solid later. #art
