I agree with the sentiment, but since people are so interested in doing it anyways, lets all remember that the vast, overwhelming majority of shooters are cis men at ~95-98% Trans people are so underrepresented, that we don't even show in the stats
Unless we get admin officials or legislation targeting trans people referencing the shooter, I do not feel a need to cover the identity of a monstrous murderer. The same people who hated us before hate us today and will tomorrow.
